BENGKALIS (CanelNews) — At exactly 15.27 WIB, the Acting Regional Secretary of Riau Province, M. Job Kurniawan, arrived in Negeri Junjungan, Bengkalis Regency, Saturday (5/7/2025).
M. Job’s presence at Bandar Sri Laksamana Port, Bengkalis was warmly welcomed by the Regional Secretary of Bengkalis, dr. Ersan Saputra TH, who represented the Regent of Bengkalis, as well as officials within the Bengkalis Regency Government.
According to Regional Secretary Dr. Ersan, M. Job crossed from Pasar Baru Sungai Pakning Port using the Pemdalis speedboat, and arrived safely at Sri Laksamana Port.
“His arrival in Bengkalis was in order to represent the Governor of Riau to attend and close the 43rd Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) at the Riau Province level,” said Dr. Ersan.
He also expressed the hope that M. Job’s trip would bring a good impression while in Junjungan Country, which is known for its typical Terubuk Fish.
“Alhamdulillah, he arrived safely. Hopefully he is comfortable and happy to be in Bengkalis,” he added.
The closing of the 43rd MTQ is scheduled to take place tonight at 19.00 WIB at Pasir Andam Dewi Bengkalis Field. Ersan hopes that the public will also pray for the closing event to run successfully and smoothly.
“God willing, tonight’s event will be solemn and lively. We ask for the prayers and support of the entire community,” concluded Ersan. (infotorial)
